“Feelings that have become a reference”: Richard Gere’s 33-year-old wife and their strong love

Richard Gere, an iconic actor famous for his roles with a broken heart, after two failed marriages found lasting love in the person of Alejandra Silva.

After marrying supermodel Cindy Crawford and actress Carey Lowell, Gere decided to postpone love until he found the right woman.

She became Alejandra Silva, a Spanish activist who is related to him in humanitarian views.

Gere and Silva officially became a couple in 2014, but their relationship began 15 years ago. Their paths first crossed when Gere, working on a television commercial, borrowed a boat from Silva’s father. Initially, they were family friends, but after the reunion, their bond deepened, and both realized that they had found their soulmate.

Silva, deeply devoted to her humanitarian work, converted to Buddhism and moved to New York to be with Gir. Their shared values and passion for making a positive impact on society have strengthened their relationship.

The couple preferred to keep their romance a secret until 2015, when they were spotted in Sicily at the Taormina Film Festival. In 2018, they exchanged vows in a quiet ceremony at the Gear Ranch, and then celebrated the event in New York.

Their love story opened a new chapter with the birth of their second child in 2020. Silva shared a photo of their visit to the Dalai Lama and announced her pregnancy.

Geer, who is now 73, admits that it is difficult to raise children at his age, but does not lose optimism, promising Silva at least 20 good years. Despite worrying about time, the couple enjoys every moment, living a life filled with love, joy and shared values.
