Natasha hoped that her husband’s desire to have a second child could save their marriage. But Natasha’s mother had a different opinion.

Natasha beamed with joy as she hugged her mother Inna. The daughter excitedly shared that Kostya wanted a second child.

However, her mother’s gloomy look spoke volumes. For Natasha, this news meant Kostya’s determination to fix their strained marriage. And yet the turmoil of the past clouded Inna’s thoughts. Kostya’s infidelity threw Natasha into a whirlwind of emotional chaos, often accompanied by resentment and tears. Despite her broken heart, Natalia clung to her marriage. She changed her image, trying to become an ideal wife, hoping that Kostya would value what she might lose.

Kostya seemed to change as well, helping out around the house, playing with their son, and expressing remorse for his past affairs. Natalia was full of hope. However, Kostya’s kindness soon disappeared, and he returned to his former cynical self. Natasha’s torment lingered: she was constantly afraid of Kostya’s departure. And then the prospect of having a second child came up.

Inna perceived this as a strategy by Kostya to tie Natasha even more to the chaotic household, covering her fears with parental responsibilities. Inna suggested that Natalia wait with the baby to gauge Kostya’s reaction.

In the evening, hearing Natasha’s hesitation, Kostya showed his true contempt and impatience. The reality hit home, leading Natasha to the final decision to divorce. The subsequent breakup was far from amicable: Kostya’s continuous attempts to torment Natasha continued.

Eventually, Inna introduced Natasha to her friend’s son. Their newfound friendship turned into a marriage a year later. Kostya, who was in despair, once tried to invade Natasha’s peace, but was sternly rebuffed. Natasha left for good, leaving Kostya to struggle with the life he now led, a consequence of an unappreciated love and a lost family.
