Daytime Car Mechanic’s Voice Is So Emotional He Even Made Simon Cry

This one is an oldie but a goodie, showcasing a different but profoundly moving side of talent. Simon Cowell, renowned as one of the harshest critics in the world, demonstrates that beneath his tough exterior, he is just as human as the rest of us.

Typically, less than 25 percent of performers manage to impress Simon. The remaining 75 percent often receive his notoriously blunt comments. However, this man managed to do something extraordinary—he made Simon cry. It’s almost hard to believe that someone as tough as Simon Cowell could be moved to tears, but he truly was.

This video highlights how genuine and powerful talent can evoke deep emotions in anyone. Josh Daniel, a 21-year-old car mechanic from Billingham, England, delivered an incredibly moving rendition of Labrinth’s “Jealous,” dedicated to his best friend who passed away when they were just 18.

If I were Simon, I would have been just as emotional, because Josh’s voice is absolutely out of this world. His performance is so impressive that it gives you chills in the best way possible. He is a complete gem—truly amazing.
