Elon Musk Criticizes Robert De Niro for His “Wokeness”: “What are you talking about, it makes no sense”

Elon Musk recently responded to remarks made by Robert De Niro during an interview on “11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle” on MSNBC. In the interview, De Niro compared Donald Trump to infamous historical figures Hitler and Mussolini, suggesting that Trump’s reelection would lead to anarchy.

Musk took to his social media platform X to criticize De Niro’s comparison, arguing that the four years of Trump’s presidency were not equivalent to the totalitarian regimes of Hitler or Mussolini. “It does not make sense,” Musk said, “because Trump was already president for four years and his policies were completely different from Hitler’s.” Musk also mentioned the Abraham Accords to highlight how Trump’s actions were vastly different from those of Hitler.

De Niro has been openly critical of Trump, expressing his concerns about the threat he believes Trump poses to the United States. “I don’t understand it,” De Niro said, expressing his bewilderment over why some voters might consider voting for Trump again. He suggested that these voters might not grasp the gravity of the situation if Trump were to assume the presidency again, indicating that they seem unaware of the potential consequences.

Musk reiterated his point on X, emphasizing that Trump’s presidency was not comparable to the regimes of Hitler or Mussolini and highlighting the differences in their policies. He pointed to the Abraham Accords as a key example of how Trump’s actions diverged significantly from what Hitler would have endorsed.

De Niro has made it clear that he views Trump as a significant threat to the United States, expressing his confusion over why some voters would consider reelecting him. “I don’t understand it,” he repeated, underscoring his belief that many voters do not fully grasp the potential dangers of Trump’s return to the presidency.
