The young schoolboy from Bristol charmed everyone with his angelic voice as he sang the John Denver classic, bringing the audience to their feet.

English pop star Pixie Lott turned her chair at the end of his performance, securing Shaney-Lee a spot on the UK show. Living on a farm near Bristol Airport, Shaney-Lee’s love for country music is perfectly fitting. He even rode his Shetland pony, Bobby Brown, to the studio for his audition.

In his interview, Shaney-Lee expressed his passion for country and Western music, mentioning that he saw Texas country legend Kenny Rogers live two years prior. Music runs in his blood, as he enjoys listening to it at his nan’s house, on the radio, and on YouTube. His parents, Shane and Tamara, are his biggest supporters. Shane proudly shared, “Whenever Shaney-Lee sings, it makes you very proud. The places we go, the people we see, they always ask him to sing.”
