Michael Ketterer made a triumphant return to America’s Got Talent, and it was well worth the wait!

If you remember, Michael first appeared on the show early in the season and received the second Golden Buzzer of AGT Season 13.

Michael, a pediatric mental health specialist and father of six children, several of whom were adopted from foster care, should have been embraced by America just for that.

Not only is Michael a stand-up guy, but he also possesses an incredible voice. His audition left the judges in awe, particularly Simon Cowell, who sent him straight to the live performances by giving him the Golden Buzzer, bypassing the Judges’ Cut round.

Before Michael could even perform for the second time on AGT, Simon couldn’t help but sing his praises. “He is incredible; he is a wonderful human being as well as a fantastic vocalist,” Simon exclaimed. “I’m overjoyed. I’m truly, truly overjoyed right now!”

During his performance, Michael once again captivated the judges and the audience. By the time he finished singing, the entire crowd and all four judges were on their feet applauding him. When Tyra Banks asked Simon for his feedback, he was overcome with emotion. However, Tyra encouraged him to share his thoughts.

“Oh my god, Michael, look at me. Oh my gosh. As a father, I understand why—I can’t imagine what you’ve done, let alone being on this program. You desperately need it, and you’re a very unique individual. I’m not sure what it is about you!”
